Welcome back, you've made it to my second post of 2018. Which is great for two reasons, firstly I remembered to write another post (phew!) and secondly the first didn't scare you off! So happy days.
As promised, here is my housey wish list full of all the things my home would bear if only my bank account would let it.
I've tried to gear my list towards eco conscious shops and items that care. As we are all aware, it's nice to care. So, here goes...
Kiko frame: I already own one of these little beauties, Santa was kind ♥, but since when was one ever enough?! I envisage a wall with 3-4 Kiko frames each holding a little momento to this crazy ride we call life.
Ian Snow quilt: Who doesn't love a good quilt? This beauty from Ian Snow (does someone want to buy me their whole website, pls) is ethically made in India and uses materials such as old saris. I aspire to own fabrics recycled from saris, and own a few already. The colours are to die to for and it feels good knowing no one died or was ill treated in the making of such a beautiful piece!
Beeswax wraps: Let's make 2018 the year of saying goodbye to single use plastics. These handy kitchen accessories are a great way to start your plastic free journey, let's say no to clingfilm and yes to Bees! These are high up on my 2018 purchase list as I consciously try to cut out and say no to unsustainable packaging.
Mira Kurkiala print: Im always torn between the open ocean and the green depths of our world, whether it's choosing where to walk the dog or which Mira Kurkiala print to buy. Which is your favourite?!
Peter Pan Bookishly: Having loved Peter Pan and pretty books since being small this Bookishly print is a MUST HAVE for my home. The question is where to hang it...
Hemp basket: Now, I want this beautiful basket for a basic reason. To store my furries toys. Our pet toys are currently thrown in an old empty (plastic!) paint bucket, and it's just not ok with me. They need an upgrade ASAP!
Picture ledge: Ok, so my living room is SCREAMING out for one of these! It's a need, want must type of situation. And who doesn't love a trip to Ikea?
So, this is where I leave you. It's 11.30pm and if I could I would spend all night browsing and adding to my ever growing wish list... Sigh. But it's Sunday night and Monday morning is creeping over the horizon, work is beckoning and dreams of money trees are calling.
Night night x
